This was particularly important for us since we were new to the process and the Bay Area's property market is very dynamic and aggressive. She is very hardworking and chased down the "scoop" on every single home that we considered so that we could make the best and most informed choice. We appreciated Sheila’s strong work ethic during the COVID-19 SIP period in the Bay Area which had a lot more processes for her to complete in order for us to see open houses, make offers, etc. With her experience, Sheila was able to translate our high-level preferences into concrete features to look for in a home which really aided us, especially during open houses. She was also able to point out important things to look for which, as new home buyers, we would not have considered. Lastly, with her developer background, she has a good eye for design and was easily able to provide insight into how a house could be remodeled to improve its aesthetic and resale value. When it came to making an offer, Sheila was extremely diligent not only in providing comps and reviewing disclosures but also in building a relationship with the seller's agent which really gave us a leg up when we finally purchased the right home for us. Sheila was very understanding of our requirements and was not pushy at all.
